Ooofta, it really has been too long since I blogged. That means I’ve had more design stuff to do on the side (which is good). I just recently started working with Lemonstripe, as a contracted designer. They have been giving me some great opportunities, and can’t wait for more in the future. So, yes I’ve been a bit busy. BUT, on a side note I started teaching myself calligraphy! So, I attached two simple designs I did with my new ‘beginners’ pen. What do you think? It’s pretty fun!

I love these and have wanted to learn calligraphy for a long time. What pens did you start with and are you using a book to learn?
Pam, Thank you so much! I actually bought a beginners set at Michaels, I’ll put the link below. I am actually self teaching myself by basically finding calligraphy styles I like and practicing to make it look the same..it takes time, but I’m addicted! I definitely recommend giving it a try!
