Happy hump day friends! I wanted to share with you my most recent blogger bride post on Style Me Pretty today about styling your bridesmaids! Just a couple weeks ago I invited all of my girls over to my new apartment to have a ladies weekend..which of course included trying on tons of gorgeous gowns. Since all of my bridesmaids are married and have been in at least a couple weddings I wanted to make this experience a bit more unique.
That is when I found Brideside, a new shop-at-home experience for bridesmaid dress shopping. I got so excited just thinking how much fun we could have together, sifting through dresses, trying on jewelry, sipping mimosas, and just having fun with the entire experience in the comfort of our home. When I told my girls that they really couldn’t wait, its like Carrie Bradshaw trying on her many outfits among her closest friends.
The best part is that we got to customize our sample dresses that were sent to us, so I was able to pick out a few of my favorites (and the girls’ too) as well as some colors that I thought would work best for our wedding. By the end of the day, and a few mimosas later, each of my maids found a dress the absolutely loved. I seriously couldn’t recommend this more for any bride and her maids. It was personal, fun, and most importantly comfortable (especially since one of my maids is 8 months pregnant and my fifth maid is about 6 months prego :) And yipee that my girls all have a dress…now I just need too!
