Saffron Avenue Update – Winter

My Life

SaffronAvenueUpdate

Happy wednesday friends! I thought it was time to give you a little Saffron Avenue Update for this Winter! I’ve been a busy bee trying to finalize all of my current (like 10) projects before December…because I am actually trying my best to take time off. Although I say that, I will still be working on my shop stuff, wordpress themes, planning our wedding, and doing some business building. But holy cow am I excited for a little break..a much needed break!

As the new year approaches I will be trying to take on less clients, yet bigger (full scale) projects. That way I can truly focus on each one and build a brand and website that is beyond perfect for them and unique as well. With that being said, it is going to be soo hard to turn down potential clients :( But as I grow I want to be able to take on those unique projects that are ready to step outside of the box and somewhat a design challenge for me.

For the shop, I want to be able to hone in on the products that are loved and produce more like that..or even more products for the seasons. Along with that, I’m hoping to launch Saffron Avenue Themes by Spring…eeeeee! (can’t wait).

As for me, I’m about to head to NC to try on wedding dresses at Hayden Olivia Bridal! Of course I’m nervous (that I won’t find a dress), but I think I am even more excited to spend a weekend with my Sister…just having fun and exploring. I need to realize to take more breaks and enjoy the life I am trying so hard to build…much easier to say than to do.  As I look back on this year (and being engaged) I realize I haven’t really spent the time on planning and enjoying the planning process. And for those who know me, know I grew up wanting to be a wedding planner, and could NOT wait to plan my own wedding. Now it is here and my clients and business is taking precedence (obviously)..and it kind of sucks because this only happens once and I really want to have fun with it!

So, with all of this rambling you can expect a few more fun Style Me Pretty collaborations, another fun little collaboration with Lark + Linen, our engagement photos, a couple big projects I’m finishing up, and of course will be trying to keep you posted with the wedding!

Until then, enjoy the crisp air and warm cider :)

I Think You'll Love...

Oooh Hayden Olivia is in Charlotte right? That’s where I live! Try Cowfish (after dress shopping) while you’re in town – it’s my favorite!

Hi there, yes it is! And thanks for the recommendation, we will definitely try to check it out!!

      • I tried Cowfish while visiting friends in Charlotte about a year ago – it was delicious! Good luck with the wedding gown shopping, and so happy to hear you’re taking a break for yourself! It’s so hard to do, but so necessary. Excited to see what the new year will bring for Saffron Avenue :)

Good to know, we’ll definitely have to try it out! And yes..we’ll see how much of a ‘break’ I’ll actually take..considering my mind/ideas never stop!
