Well, if you’ve been following me on Instagram, my 2019 did not get off to a great start. I actually felt a bit sick New Year’s Eve and then woke up the next morning to a pretty terrible email from Paypal. I opened it up and it stated they will be pulling $1,100 out of my account from a customer claim. If you remember, a customer bought my Ginger Template HERE, and I believe, decided they didn’t want it anymore. They filed a claim for ‘unauthorized transaction’ and actually got their money back (and have all my designs).
Besides showing plenty of proof, Paypal sided with the buyer and WILL NOT protect sellers who offer digital goods or services. BUT, only a few hours later I received an email from Gabi over at Joyful Day Weddings, which turned my day right around. Gabi also purchased GINGER for Black Friday and just launched her new website template..and her first website!
The crazy thing is, almost everytime I get a ‘low’ in business, it is always followed by a ‘high’..and I believe that’s just the universe telling me I’ll be ok. So, today I’m showcasing the first official peek at the Ginger template customized for a wedding and event planner!
WHY SHE CHOSE GINGER:
Being in the wedding industry, most sites are white, soft, and very feminine. As soon as I saw the Ginger template, I knew I needed to have it! The bold fonts fit my personality so well, and I loved the color blocking. The hand lettering Angela provided with the template is STUNNING and added that perfect touch of femininity to the site. I knew I would change the color palette, but I saw so much potential in the design for me!
