That’s right..I’m actually heading home this year for Christmas! I don’t think I have spent a Holiday with my family since I moved almost 2 years ago..so yes I am beyond excited! Although, I am not necessarily looking forward to the cold..and the anxiety of driving in the snow for hours on end. But, I am fortunate enough to get off from work for almost 2 weeks so I can try to see everyone I love. To top it off, I will get to spend time with my mom and my brother on Christmas day..I don’t know the last time that has ever happend. I also get to see my lovely boyfriend, my best friends newborn nugget Silas, and my sisters prego belly! So the world better not end the day before I leave or I will be pissed.
The photo above was from the snow storm of 2010. I was visiting my sister in St. Paul when it just hit and dumped over 20″ of snow. I typically would not leave the house but we had to get out the 4-wheeler and take it to her husband..who’s plow truck was stuck (it was that bad).
