Goodbye Summertime

Holiday

Well hello fall, you really snuck up on me quick!  Although I can’t complain with the crisp air, changing leaves, and never ending hot beverages. I used to not like Fall at all growing up..simply knowing what was about to come, the dreaded Midwest winters. Over the years and after living in NC I’ve come to appreciate the weather, windows open, 60-70 degree weather, cozy sweaters, and leather boots. I’m sure people here in Wisconsin think I’m crazy when I currently walk around in my jeans, sweaters and scarves..but I just love layers and covering up in warmth!

Fall5

Since I like to keep my blog personalized I want to thank everyone for their support with my online shop, I can’t tell you how excited I get once I see a purchase ;)  It’s been a great distraction as my family has had a rough past couple weeks, a couple of them are each going through something very difficult right now and it’s killing me not being able to be there for each of them all at once.  It can be emotionally draining for sure and my heart hurts for each of them, I’ve learned to simply show my love and keep up the constant phone calls, texts, mail, etc. With that being said, here is to a new season and a new chapter :)

  1. Love the image! Makes me want to bundle up in scarf (which I’ll be needing to do soon enough here in OH). I hope things get better with your family soon – it’s so hard to be away when you want to be close!

  2. HUGS. Me & mine are going through something rough at the moment too, and likewise at a distance. It’s SO HARD not being able to be there when you want.

  3. I’m excited for fall too. Especially for a change in wardrobe. On another note, your family is in my prayers. I’m sure they will overcome their difficulties.

  4. I’m excited for fall too! This has got to be the perfect image to describe how I feel about it. I’m sorry your family is going through some things right now. It’s hard to see loved ones go through difficult times and not being about to do anything about it. Stay strong because your strength is their strength.
