Happy Monday! I was in such a crafty mood yesterday that I searched the D.I.Y. blogs for hours…and ended up not even acting on my craftiness. But, I saw this do it yourself wall art on How About Orange and loved it because I re-created this painting over a year or more ago. If only I saw these directions sooner I wouldn’t have had to draw my own design and trace it with paint! Enjoy!
Paint abstract stripes on it with acrylic paint, I added water to mine to make it fade more.
Choose any image you would like and print it out
Buy some artists’ graphite transfer paper and place it side down.
Now trace over your image with a pencil, make sure not to smudge the graphite paper. Then trace over the pencil with a permanent paint marker found at any craft store.
