Hard Work Pays Off…

My Life

As many readers may know in July of 2011 I moved to North Carolina from Wisconsin, which was probably the biggest risk I have ever taken just to pursue my dreams/career.  Only months after moving I created my 2012 New Years resolutions, hoping to myself that I would accomplish at least four.  I just recently looked back at it to see how much could possibly change in a year…

1. Advertisers: Not yet, just inquiries at the moment

2. New Mac: Honestly didn’t think this would actually happen… :)

3. Start a Roth IRA: Well I started another business instead? (mint 102 y’all)

4. Take a Trip: Does Southport count?

5. 5 Logos a month: haaa far busier than just 5 logos a month!

6. Water: Definitely (and coffee)

7. Etsy Page: Feels like I started that like 4 years ago (time does fly)

8. Launch Blog: Obviously

9. Attempt to workout: Well I think I’m currently addicted to body pump and the elliptical (my only break from the computer/work)

10. Heels: Yeah… x3

Among all that jazz in 2012…my sister is prego, my best friend had a baby, almost 5.5 years with my boyfriend, I work like 16 hours a day, I officially own my own business, and well it was just a great year and I cannot wait for 2013

I Think You'll Love...

Love your resolution checklist up there, I’ll be doing my own version for the new year on my blog before the end of the year too – eek only 3 days left! Meanwhile may I just say that I seriously love your blog/work, it’s totally in tune with my own sense of design and aesthetic, so I fell in love with it instantly! Funnily enough also, I JUST bought a new iMac today. I figured it was time so I went for it! Keep up the fab work Angela and happy holidays! x

      Hi Helen,
Thank you so much! Love your blog too, I can see we do have similar styles. And have fun with the new mac, it is so much fun! Happy New Year!

Great job on working through your list! I’d say getting that far through is pretty amazing in one year! I’ve just found your blog and I’m now embarrassingly obsessed with it. I love your design and the designs that you’ve done for other people. Unfortunately I’m having trouble looking back through you older posts (it won’t load the pages), but I’ll definitely be back to keep trying! I hope that you have a great New Year and a wonderful 2013!

You are so cute! Love that you actually brought back your 2012 resolutions, it’s always nice to evaluate how you did! I am seriously in love with your design aesthetic and wanted to let you know that my personal goals are to grow my blog this year and that includes one day being able to render your services! I can’t wait for the day when I can hire you!! I also am slighly jealous that you are now living in NC, my old stomping grounds! Minneapolis is getting colderrrrrr :)
