I’ve been waiting to share this beauty with you for awhile and so excited to finally post about it! A couple months ago Leah contacted me about her new blog Simply Fabulous Living {a refreshingly simple and beautiful approach to managing life and home}, needing a new logo and blog design. The minute we talked (and checked out her pinterest board) I couldn’t wait to get started on her project. Her ideal style was clean, timeless, refreshing, hand-drawn, natural, warm hues, with an anthropology style. She wanted both her blog and her brand to represent her organized lifestyle as well as the simplicity of managing everyday life. She loved the color ochre so I decided to pair it with warm tones of mauve, peach, and taupe. To make the logo stand out we went with a deep charcoal and accented it with the colorful border.

After deciding on a logo and placing it onto the blog Leah wanted to add a few touches of color to the logo and the blog header, I hand drew the frame and used both the ochre and the mauve to pull it all together.

I am so happy with how the blog turned out and how clean and organized it is. I wanted to make sure this was unique and hand drew just about everything to do so!

Hello, you have such beautiful work! Could you tell me what the fonts are that you used in logo variation #4? I am trying to redesign my logo and am having a tough time finding script fonts that are legible but not “girly” o r too playful. I also LOVE your script in your logo (the Saffron), would you mind telling me that font as well? Thanks!
