Happy Monday! I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend and are all rested up! I spent my weekend in a very small town of Hayfield, MN watching a softball tournament that my boyfriend played in with some friends. It was a very fun weekend, except for the fact that on Saturday when it hit only 55 degrees! (cold, windy, and rainy). Needless to say I can never really prepare for these types of events and unexpected weather when it comes to my outfit choices. I did however make sure I packed a few of my favorites that could easily work in various temps and conditions.

I typically always overdress, but I am trying to mix a few casual items with a some dressier items to even it out a bit more. This simple summer style includes casual boyfriends jeans, girls baseball tee, sunglasses, fedora or hat, neutral nail polish (sand tropez), nude wedges, and a drink in hand (coffee or cocktail). I obviously couldn’t wear the wedges this weekend, and instead paired it with brown nine west boots and an Express leather jacket. I got my summer inspiration from this lady.
{p.s. congrats to they guys for winning the tournament too, always a much better ride back home when they do :)
