A Mid-Western Love Story: Part II

Weddings & Events

Here’s the second half of the photos, most of these are the details. ENJOY!

Below: We got all of the flowers from fiftyflowers.com, and did everything ourselves. The green in the arrangement below was found around our house. All of our aunts collected mason jars, which we used as vases.

 A week or two before the wedding I started growing wheatgrass (bought online) and we cut it to fit in wooden boxes

The reception had a three different styles on two types of tables. Each had a burlap runner, which bought online through Joanne Fabric. As you can see, a few friends of mine saved up their baby food jars, which we used as candle holders.

 They rented an authentic vintage photo-booth during the dinner…that was a hit!

 We had three types of table designs as you can see below, creating a more casual environment.

We rented a simple pole tent, for a low cost, that we somehow managed to make work! To cut costs we had to use the same chairs for the ceremony and reception. We also tried really hard to get linens to the floor…but that ended up being very spendy, as you can see we just used the caterer’s linens.

As place markers for the head table, each bridal party member had their own mason jar mug..although we didn’t really sit in our assigned spots!

 The sign below reading “marry me” was part of the proposal…we figured it should be displayed.

 Instead of a professional baker…my sister asked me to bake her cake, yep that’s my masterpiece! {note – last time I’ll bake a cake for a wedding I’m planning..and part of}

 {My nerve-wrecking speech…}

I hope you loved enjoyed the wedding!  It was such a beautiful day, fun, amazing, memorable day…they deserved all of it!

I Think You'll Love...
