Hi friends, I’m so excited to share with you the many photos I took from our girls staycation at The Charmant Hotel in La Crosse last weekend! A few weeks ago I shared with you the invites I sent the girls and wanted to do a follow up with not only the gorgeous hotel, but a few details I put together to celebrate our girls night!
The best part of The Charmant is it’s boutique style, so every single room (only 67 of them) has a little bit different charm to it. Those who have been to La Crosse know how historic downtown is, this adorable hotel adds to it even more. This building is actually a renovated candy factory, constructed in 1898 and in operation for 35 years. So some of the wood beams, wood floors, and exposed brick is the original from the candy factory. Our room it even had photos from the original building and old candy tins, so I loved it!
Once the girls arrived we each filled up our mason jars with the Kahlua and Espresso and blasted some music while we did our hair and makeup. I also created a fun little ‘Drink If..’ game to play while we were getting ready, but let’s be honest, we all drank every time anyway ;) And of course, I created a little ‘hangover kit’ for us too, which was more than necessary the next day…
Once we were all done getting ready, we hit up the rooftop bar and lounge for a few more cocktails…the weather was PERFECT. It was 75 and sunny, and couldn’t have asked for a better night!
We also had dinner at their restaurant..let me just say, it was soooo delicious. We tried each other’s food too, and everything was excellent!
And it wouldn’t be a girls staycation if we didn’t jump on the bed ;)

That is so wonderful that you live in La Crosse! My husband and I moved from Bend, Oregon to Traverse City, Michigan two years ago and we stopped in La Crosse for a night on our cross country drive. I thought it was so adorable. xo
Oh nice! Did you stay at the hotel? It’s so quaint and adorable!
We didn’t! We had our St. Bernard with us, so we stayed somewhere dog friendly. I would love to stay there though. Great recommendation if we’re every out that way again. It looks gorgeous. :)
You definitely have to do that, it’s so beautiful!
This looks amazing!! Love the colors + gold foils and how you branded everything!
Awe thank you so much…I’m glad you noticed ;)
Just had to look this up – I think we’re doing a little family trip to the Charmant this weekend. Such cute photos and love the idea of a girls’ night “in” at a hotel. <3
