Oh goodness, I have been so busy that I just haven’t had time to work on blog posts! I apologize to you all for that! Since I have been spending a lot of time on logos and websites I have had some time to work/practice my calligraphy (hence the quote and the new style). I realized that calligraphy is a stress reliever for me and a hobby, so whenever I do a logo I absolutely love it and start to try different styles. I am still not a expert in any way but it is fun trying to perfect it more and more.
I also thought this quote (if it makes sense) is perfect to share, being it’s January and a great time to really dig into your dreams. There are some days where I still can’t believe where I am at in my career (and life). I never would have thought it was possible 3 years ago, and definitely couldn’t have done it without having those big dreams and the support of family..and my clients too. Days like today just make me realize how unbelievably lucky (or blessed) I am to have found something I absolutely love doing..and get to make some money doing it! It is -20 windchill out right now and I remember a few years ago when I dreaded having to wake up every morning and go to a job I really did not like..not to mention this weather made it 10x worse! But today, I get to stay inside, sipping on my chai latte and writing to you all..my friends, my supporters. I really hope everyone takes a minute or two and really puts down in words their dreams, writing it down is the first step to making it happen. Thank you all for listening and hopefully you all stick around too. I have a lot of exciting things happening this year that I CANNOT wait to share with you. So for now, have a beautiful day..and dream on darling!

Thank you so much, I’m glad to hear you found me :) I actually self taught myself a lot of it, but also did a skillshare class for it as well. I’m also looking to get the ‘Modern Calligraphy’ book too. Wish you the best too!
