Hi friends, I don’t know if you remember but I have a list of 30 things I would like to accomplish before I turn 30. I wanted to do a quick update post on where I am currently at! Although it doesn’t seem like much, I have 8 items already crossed off, woo hooo! I have a couple more years to go..and know for sure in the next 6 months I should be crossing off a few more. Here’s to setting some goals and killin them!
NOTE: there are a couple I know will probably not be crossed off…(beat kiley in ping pong and probably start/enjoy running ;)

Keep striving!
this list is great! Love #15 and #30 :)
If we lived near each other, I’d gladly teach you how to drive stick. I’ve been doing it since I was 16! Although, I will say it’s hard to get it the whole process to stick (no pun intended) unless you’re consistently driving that way. It can be complicated and it’s definitely something you get better at with lots of practice.
IF you do learn at some point, try and do it in a new car – they shift so much easier! Have a happy Thanksgiving and good luck crossing more off your list :)
Ha, I’ve heard old ones are much more difficult! My Subaru does have that ‘manual’ option..so maybe I should just consider it stick ;)
This is great! I will have to make a 35 before 35 or 40 before 40 (YIKES, that’s scary) now that I am 33! Tip on the running thing, have some kids lol, running will be your break from the craziness of the house and you will look forward to it, I promise! The first few weeks are the hardest and then once you get in the groove it truly will be something you look forward to. I am bummed my knee is shot and I just can’t do it anymore, but at one point I literally looked forward to jogging 5-7 miles… crazy!!
That’s a great thing to keep in mind when we do have kids! And holy cow 7 miles, that is impressive my friend!
I started one of these lists on my desktop and I don’t think I’ve looked at it in MONTHS. Whoomp Whoomp. I say you can cross off #14, you’re published here on your blog! You hit “publish” every time you write a new post!!! ;-) Congrats on what you have accomplished so far!!!
Ha., yes maybe I should change that one too ‘be published in a book’ !
[…] I’m finding myself constantly working on them. I came across this fantastic article on the Saffron Avenue blog (which is one of my favorites to read) about what thirty goals she wanted to accomplish before […]
Do the boudoir pics! I did mine as a gift for my husband before our wedding and it was scary but the turnout was awesome! Not to mention he was thrilled with it :D
[…] And since I have now been ushered into the realm of late twenties, I thought it would be fun to steal this idea of a “30 before 30 list” from Angela at Saffron Avenue. […]
