Summer Style :: Going Blonde

Beauty

Happy Monday! I’ve been in need of a haircut for awhile because I just really do not like getting my hair cut. I’m not sure if it’s the cost or not knowing if it will turn out how I like it. But…it needs to happen. So, I feel like it’s time to change it up again and try something completely new for me. I have never had my hair professionally colored, nor have I ever gone lighter than my natural brunette color (which I’ve really never been a huge fan of). So, with Spring and Summer around the corner I’m thinking of going blonde or lighter. I need your help though…considering this is my color, what do you think would look best? Any advice appreciated!!style

  1. Ooh! I think the ombre would look beautiful on you!! Especially since you’ll be able to keep some of your original hair color that fades into the blonde towards the ends :)

    LOVE the ombre and think it’d be perfect for you! Last summer I got a balayage in blonder colors over my natural brunette head. It’s smart to go for light highlights or ombre before dying your entire head! I actually ended up going really dark after it, so I’m glad I started with something subtle to help me decide if I wanted to go lighter :) Love that gorgeous soft color! GO FOR IT!!!

    There’s nothing more exciting than a hair color change! I vote ombre (for the reasons listed above), but I think a dark golden blonde would look gorgeous on you too. When it comes to a dramatic color change, baby steps are the way to go :). Can’t wait to see the “after”!

    Personally I think your natural hair colour is already gorgeous, but agree that an ombre look is a perfect way to test the waters :) And it also works well when reverting back to natural too. After years of having my hair professionally lightened, I’m now using an ombre technique to help seamlessly grow out the ends.

    Good luck :)

    I LOVE the sandy color. Its very fresh and warm. That’s my top voite, but ombre is very trendy right now and you would be able to fade it out nicely. Either one of those would be great choices. Let us know which one youd decide! :)

    I guess I’m a little late, huh!?! ★I hope you decide on the o m b r e, as it would accommodate your need for change, without causing you to question your own identity every time you passed a mirror. It is lovely, when done properly, and gives you the option of playing around with blonde while preventing shock or regret.!!!! Curious which you chose and how you liked the change.
