I wanted to share with you my will you be my bridesmaid box that I was going to feature on Style Me Pretty  (decided to take a different route). I put together a DIY wooden box that included a little champagne and a booklet of what to expect. If you have’t seen it yet I was inspired by this post here, but put my own spin on it with the details and the design. I started with a plain wooden box from Michaels and stained it dark walnut and hand painted each girls name on it with white paint. Inside of the box I pulled together a few pieces that would give them an overall better idea of our wedding and style.

I included a booklet of the wedding details, bridesmaid dress ideas, a short description of each maid, my color palette, my wedding inspiration board, and a few photos of where we will be staying and where the wedding will be held at.

I had a custom stamp made for the engagement party shoot so I used that to tie around a mini Sofia champagne can. A couple of my girls are pregnant so they just have to hold on to it until the wedding to enjoy it!

This is PERFECT, literally encompasses my vision for my girls’ boxes. Would you mind sharing a template of the booklet pages for one DIY bride in Jersey?! It would really help me tons as I’m planning to ask my girls next month & between all the other planning and my busy work schedule it’s been hard to dedicate quality time to putting something beautiful together.

      Hi there,
Thank you Melissa! Unfortunately I don’t have a template for it :( And I’m not quite sure where it is anymore (I since have gotten a new computer). I’m so sorry that’s not helpful at all!!

Hi! Love the box!! Weird question.. do you remember what kind of paint you used or if you used a special paint brush?! I just love the thickness of the names!!

  12. Stephanie Creekmur says:

I love these! Did you ship them or just deliver in person? Just wondering about the champagne and shipment! :)

  13. Kathleen says:

What script font do you use in the booklet?

  14. Dequeshia says:

This may be a dumb question, but how did you make sure all of the pages in the booklet were the same size? Did you design them with borders?
