Happy Tuesday! I have some exciting new branding projects to share with you today! I am going to start with the oh-so-fabulous Jessica Hanning and her new re-branding for Va Va Voom Boudoir {a luxury beauty and boudoir portraiture}. I am been beyond lucky to work with Jessica, she is an amazing photographer (more news on that soon), a new momma, and a dedicated full-time business owner. She has been so great to work with and couldn’t ask for a more friendly, sweet, and supportive client!  We started with a branding mood board to nail down her color palette, then worked on her logo variations, and then onto the final brand board.

Jessica noted that she wanted her brand to have a clean, memorable, sophisticated, somewhat glam style to it. Pulling in soft hues, beautiful calligraphy, and accents of gold.  Once we finalized the color palette we started on the logo variations, making sure to include various layouts with a mix of calligraphy styles.

    Hello!
I stumbled upon your site through Pinterest, and I LOVE the gold accent you used! I have been looking for this exact gold color to use in my new blog design, and was wondering if you wouldn’t mind sharing what the color code is?
    Love the design!

Hi Whitley, I’m glad you found me!! As for the gold I actually just used a gradient of a few different colors ranging from a warm yellow-brown to a pale yellow. There may be some tutorials online too! Thank you again!
