Simply Peachy – Logo and Blog Design

Website Design

SimplyPeachy-ColorInspirationBoardYay it’s almost the weekend! Although I work all the time, I still love weekends (and they still feel like weekends), simply because I don’t get interrupted by emails and splurge by sleeping in and even having netflix on my ipad while I work. Well anyways, I wanted to share with you a recent launch I did with the lovely Sandra over at Simply Peachy! I couldn’t thank her enough for being such a genuine and amazing client, she has a newborn and would still be emailing me as soon as she could to stay on schedule..now that’s dedication! Not only that but she is so sweet and definitely allowed me to have a bit of creative freedom when it came to the design.  She wanted to make sure it was bit playful and fun, modern and clean, and of course easy to navigate. So, after nailing down the peachy palette, we started on the logo variations. I was able to design a few different styles, from clean and simple, to playful and classic. Each one having a neutral palette with the option to pull in a subtle pop of color.

After finalizing the brand and logo design we started working on the blog design. I had so much fun designing this blog because it was our first full on blog that had a ton of different features to use. We created a ‘search by color’ option that allowed her to filter posts by a color tag. We designed a footer that featured her top five categories with the most recent posts. We  also designed and developed a gallery where she can categorize her photos which also link to the original post. It was so neat being able to help take her blog to the next level and make it easier for her readers to navigate through her endless amounts of inspiration! Check it out HERE!
